Things To Do:
Around the Resort
Golf
Just minutes from the Resort is Galgorm Castle Golf Club which is an exciting mixture of the new and the old. This 18 hole, 6736 yards par 72 Championship course is set in 220 acres of beautiful, mature parkland and is overlooked by Galgorm Castle, which was built in 1618 by Sir Faithful Fortescue. www.galgormcastle.com
Clay pigeon shooting
Northern Ireland's premier Clay Pigeon Shooting complex is on our doorstep and provides a fun yet educational day for small and large groups alike. www.carnviewfarms.com
Horse-riding
Enjoy a hack on the Estate (from 7th April 2010) or opt for a more intensive lesson to hone your skills.
Fishing
Hook up with our Gillie and net yourself a salmon or brown trout or two from the River Maine running through the Estate.
Walking, jogging & cycling
Take a walk or jog along the rivers edge, either at your leisure or with one of our personal fitness trainers to put you through your paces, or hop on one of our mountain bikes and explore the Estate from a different perspective.
Shopping
Ballymena is a great shopping town, boasting all the usual high street names together with some very individual boutiques, jewellers and lifestyle shops. Alternatively, head to the bustle of Belfast for the day and lose yourself in the myriad shops of Victoria Square, Belfast's newest shopping, eating and entertainment complex or browse the eclectic boutiques of the Lisburn Road.
Team building Activities
Archery, laser clay pigeon shooting, plank walk, orienteering, its-a-knockout and other exciting team games and activities can be organised on the grounds either for fun with a group of friends or as a teambuilding day for employees. These activities are carried out by Team Challenge Company www.teamchallenge-company.co.uk or by The Highpoint Group www.thehighpointgroup.com both of which are experienced and innovative event management specialists.
