When did you start your career at the Resort?

My career at the Resort began in 2014 when I got offered the position of Sales & Marketing Administrator during my university placement year. While completing my final year at university I worked part-time within the Events Team before being offered a full-time role as Events Coordinator upon graduation. 

What attracted you to a career in Events?

For as long as I can remember I have always loved organising events, from my childhood birthday parties, through to school formals, baby showers and most recently hen parties! I always knew that I wanted to work in Events so I decided to study Leisure & Event's Management at University as a gateway into the industry. 

What do you enjoy the most about your role?

I love how varied my role is. One day I could be organising a small meeting for 6 delegates and the next I am organising a three day corporate trip for international delegates. I get to meet and work with such a range of people and I love having the opportunity to be creative and organise something a little bit different. 

Tell us a little about your favourite Galgorm Gem?

It's so difficult to pick just one Galgorm Gem but I love the versatility of the Four Seasons Suite. The Suite has a private Bar Lounge area which offers the perfect space as a breakout area for conferences or drinks reception for gala dinners. The contemporary design of the main room which overlooks a private garden and bespoke water feature makes the Four Seasons Suite beautifully bright and airy and is perfect for a wide range of events, from exhibitions and conferences to family celebrations and gala dinners. The options are endless!

Your greatest piece of advice for those planning an event at Galgorm?

My greatest piece of advice for anyone organising an event at Galgorm is to start planning your event early on and gauge interest from your potential guests and attendees, this will help give you a good idea of your numbers and allow us to put together the perfect package to suit your requirements.
