How did you start your career at Galgorm and what is your position now?

I started as River Room Assistant Restaurant Manager over 5 years ago and I have now progressed to River Room Restaurant Manager

What do you love the most about your job role at Galgorm?

The thing I love the most about my job is the interaction with our guests that make every day different from the previous.

What is your favourite Wine and Gourmet dish combination and why?

Braised beef cheek and Ripasso Della Valpollicella. The Valpolicella wine-growing area is a strip of land in the foothills around Verona and Lake Garda Italy. Ripasso combine handpicked grapes with partially dried grapes and this to boost the flavours such as red berries, dry fruits, spice, and leather. This full-bodied wine is just perfect for the rich slow-cooked beef cheek that will fall apart in your mouth.

Do you prefer a Starter or dessert?

Has to be a sweet dessert.

What food do you dislike?

I don’t think there is anything I would not try at least once.

What is the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten?

I have tried a few local delicacies while travelling through Thailand that were quite adventurous!

What would your last ever meal on earth be?

A kind of surf and turf, like Barbecue fillet of beef with a grilled lobster on top.
