Dog-Friendly Accommodation

We understand it's not a break without your furry companion, which is why we offer dog-friendly accommodation for your pampered pooch. 

Please note the following:

  • All of our Lodging Accommodation options are dog-friendly, including Cottage Suites, Shepherd's Huts, Forest Dens, Log Cabins and Residences. Subject to availability.

  • A charge of £15 per dog, per night, applies.

  • Guests are permitted a maximum. 2 large dogs or 3 small dogs.

  • Dogs must be on a lead at all times when in any outdoor areas of the Resort.

  • If you need to leave your dog during your stay, they must be secured safely in their own sleeping cage and cannot be left unattended in the accommodation otherwise. Please note that crates/cages are not provided.

  • We recommend that you bring your own feeding bowls and bedding for your four-legged friend. Leads, collars, blanket, coats and waste bags are not provided.

Guests can dine with their dogs in The Mulberry Garden and The Barn at Castle Kitchen + Bar. We also offer room service to our accommodation.


Dog Policy

Owner Responsibilities

As the dog owner and/ or person in charge of the dog, you are liable for the actions of your dog.  By bringing your dog on to Resort premises you agree to abide by these conditions and restrictions.  You will indemnify the Resort for all loss and damage (including financial loss) sustained by the Resort, its employees, customers, invitees and third parties caused by your dog.

The Resort reserves the right to refuse accommodation to anyone with a breed of dog that is determined to be a “dangerous dog” under the Dangerous Dogs (Northern Ireland) Order 1991.

You accept personal responsibility for the behaviour of your dog during your stay.  Should your dog persistently and excessively bark or whine causing disturbance to other guests, Resort staff will contact you.  If the disturbance continues, Resort staff reserve the right to ask you to remove your dog from the accommodation.

Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times in the outdoor areas of the Resort.

Please ensure that your dog only relieves itself in external areas and that you clean up after your dog. 



You will be provided with your chosen dog-friendly accommodation for the duration of your stay. 

A maximum of 2 dogs are permitted to stay. 

Please ensure that you remove any excess water/mud from your dog after a walk before entering the accommodation. 

The bathing or grooming of your dog is not permitted within the accommodation. 

We kindly request that your dog does not sit on any furniture. 

If you are leaving the accommodation at any point, your dog needs to be placed into its own secure kennel crate within the accommodation (crates are not provided). 

The Resort will not provide food or bedding for your dog.



Guests can dine with their dogs in The Mulberry Garden and The Barn at Castle Kitchen + Bar. We also offer room service to our accommodation.


Access to Resort Facilities

Only assistance and guide dogs are permitted into the main Resort including the restaurants and The Spa.

All dogs on a lead are permitted into the Mulberry Garden area of the Resort and The Barn at Castle Kitchen + Bar where owners can order food and beverages to consume at the seating areas.


Damage and Soiling

Should your dog soil within the accommodation causing permanent damage or the necessity for additional cleaning services, or cause any other damage, you will be charged accordingly to the card provided at check-in.
