Can I organise an early check-in?

Early check-in is unavailable.

Can I arrive before my check in time to use The Spa?

For guests staying in our Hotel Guestroom accommodation, Thermal Spa Village relaxation is available at no additional charge from 12noon prior to check-in.

Please note, should you wish to avail of early spa access, you will complete guestroom check-in at 4pm.

Will a member of staff be able to valet park my car/help with my luggage?

Valet parking not available at present. Staff will be on hand to help with guest luggage, but guests will be required to load and unload luggage onto trolleys to prevent cross contamination.

What time can I access the Thermal Spa Village?

Reservations

How can I make a special request regarding my stay?

We would love to help you with any special requests for your stay, simply type your message/request into the special requirements box after entering your name and email address. Alternatively, you can arrange a special request by phoning/emailing the hotel.

Extras that require a member of staff to enter the guest room are not available at present – an updated list of extras can be requested by emailing Guest Relations. Any extras must be pre-booked at least 24 hours in advance

 

What is Galgorm's online cancellation policy?

Hotel Guestrooms
The cancellation policy is 72 hours prior to arrival. If booking a Pre-paid Internet-only rate, full payment is taken at the time of booking and if you were to cancel there would be no refund.

Riverside Log Cabins & Cottage Suites
The cancellation policy is 7 days prior to arrival. If booking a Pre-paid Internet-only rate, full payment is taken at the time of booking and if you were to cancel there would be no refund.

 

How do I make a reservation for a large group?

Transport

Can Galgorm organise airport transfers?

Transport facilities are not available at present. 

 

Where is the nearest Railway Station to Galgorm?

There are two stations nearby; Ballymena (10 minutes by car) and Cullybackey (5 minutes by car)

 

Where is the nearest Bus Station to Galgorm?

The nearest bus station is in Ballymena (10 minutes by car)

Car Park

Does Galgorm have a car park onsite?

There are approximately 300 guest car parking spaces at the hotel. Guests who are staying in our Riverside Log Cabins & Cottage Suites can park directly outside their accommodation if required.

 

Do you have disabled parking available?

Parking spaces closest to the hotel entrance are reserved for guests with mobility difficulties.

 

Do you have an Electric Vehicle Charging Point?

There is one electric charging point located in the carpark nearest to Gillies.

Allergies

If you suffer from any allergies it is very important that the exact nature of such allergies is notified to us at the time of booking. 

Luggage

Can I leave my luggage at the Hotel before check-in/after check-out?

Yes, luggage can be stored with us.

Lost Property

What if I have forgotten an item at the Hotel?

If you find that you have left an item behind please call the hotel on 02825 881 001 with information regarding your item to enable us to locate it for you. Useful details will be the date of your stay, the number of the room you stayed in and where you think the item may have been left.

Hotel Facilities

Is Wi-Fi available in the hotel?

Wi-fi is available in the main hotel free of charge to guests and every guestroom and Cottage Suites have access to Wi-fi. The password for connection is done using the Smart TV. Please note that Wi-fi connection cannot be picked up in the Riverside Log Cabins.

 

Are pets permitted in the hotel?

Guide dogs are the only animals permitted in the hotel, however, if you're after dog-friendly accommodation, we do have two dog-friendly Cottage Suite.

Are smoking rooms available at the hotel?

Galgorm is a non-smoking building. Suites have balconies on which guests are permitted to smoke. Guests can use the Mulberry Garden area to smoke in, which is fully equipped with sheltered tables and heated seating.

 

What are the opening times of the Spa?

The Thermal Spa Village - Open Daily from 8am-10pm

Residents Treatments available 9am - 8pm 

Day Spa Treatments available 9am - 2pm 

 

What time can I access the Thermal Spa Village?

What time is breakfast served until?

Conservatory Breakfast is served daily from 7am-10.30am.

Gillies Breakfast is served daily from 7am - 12.00pm. 

Guests must pre-book a table. 

 

Can children use the Spa facilities?

Guests must be aged 16 years or over to use the spa facilities and Thermal Spa Village areas. There is Family Time in the swimming pool from 9am - 10am and 5.30pm - 6.30pm. 

*Please note, access to Family Time will depend on room type.

 

Do you have a gym?

Yes. The Fitness Suite is located on level 1 within our Thermal Spa Village. The Fitness Suite hosts a range of top quality gym and fitness equipment. 

The Fitness Suite is currently closed until further notice. 

 

How far from the hotel are the Riverside Log Cabins & Cottage Suites situated?

Riverside Log Cabins and Cottage Suites are a 5 minute walk from the main building. If you arrive by car, you can easily park beside your Riverside Log Cabin or Cottage Suite.

Riverside Cabins & Cottage Suites

What are your Riverside Cabins & Cottage Suites equipped with?

The 4 star Riverside Log Cabins & Cottage Suites are equipped with fridge, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron & ironing board. Kitchens are stocked with cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils necessary for your stay. Our large Riverside Log Cabins have a washing machine and tumble drier installed as an extra.

The Riverside Log Cabins have their own private outdoor hot tub. 

 

What time can I access the Thermal Spa Village if I'm staying in the Riverside Log Cabins?

Guests staying in the Riverside Log Cabins will have access to the Thermal Spa Village from 7pm - 10pm on the day of arrival and 8am - 10.30am on the morning of departure. Family Time in the Pool is available from 9am - 10am for guests under the age of 16, accompanied by an adult.

 

Can children use the hot tub in Riverside Log Cabins?

Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the Log Cabin Hot Tub. However, they are very welcome to use the indoor swimming pool during the Family Time sessions from 9:00am-10:00am on the morning of departure.

Users aged 16 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult at all times while using the Hot Tub.

A cover is provided for the Hot Tub but parental responsibility will be required to ensure the safety of children at all times.

 

What time can I access the Thermal Spa Village if I'm staying in the Cottage Suites?

Guests staying in the Cottage Suites will have access to the Thermal Spa Village from 5pm - 10pm on the day of arrival and 8am - 10.30am. Family Time in the Pool is available from 5.30pm - 6.30pm and 9am - 10am for guests under the age of 16, accompanied by an adult. 

 

Bedroom Facilities

Does the hotel offer family guestrooms?

Family rooms are available to accommodate 3 guests with one double bed and one single bed. Deluxe Family rooms accommodate 4 people. Cots and camp beds can also be arranged, please contact the Hotel for further details

 

Does the hotel have wheelchair-friendly guestrooms?

The hotel has a number of accessible guestrooms; please inform reservations at the time of booking of your needs.

 

Do you offer tea/coffee making facilities in the guestrooms?

Tea and coffee making facilities are available in all guestrooms.

 

Do you offer an ironing board and hairdryers in the guestrooms?

All guestrooms within the main hotel have a hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

 

Is there wi-fi available in your guestrooms?

Wi-fi is available in the main hotel free of charge to guests. Every guestroom and Cottage Suite has access to Wi-fi. The password for connection is done using the Smart TV. Please note that the Wi-fi connection cannot be picked up in the Riverside Log Cabins.

 

Does the hotel supply cots for babies/small children?

A number of cots are available. Please inform reservations of your requirements at the time of booking.

Spa | Children and Young Persons

The Spa is an adult-only environment and is only open to persons aged 16 and over. The indoor swimming pool is open exclusively for family time for our Hotel Residents & guests staying in our Cottage Suites between 9am & 10am and 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Please note family time is available for guests staying in our Riverside Log Cabin between 9am - 10am only. 
 
*Treatments cannot be offered to anyone under the age of 16. All 16/17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult at all times while in the spa, including while having a treatment..

Spa | Scheduling an Appointment

To schedule an appointment, please book online using the below options. 

Spa | Group Bookings

The person making the booking for a group will be responsible for ensuring all those attending are (i) made aware of The Spa Policies, (ii) receive a copy of The Spa Policies and the medical questionnaire to be completed on attendance (as provided by The Spa on booking)  and (iii) all such attendees comply with them. Any charges, as a result of The Spa Policies not being adhered to, will be the responsibility of the person making the original booking. 

Spa | Arrival at the Spa

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your treatment to Spa Reception to allow you sufficient time to change, complete your medical questionnaire and enjoy some relaxation time prior to your treatment.

Please note that appointments may alter by 15 minutes from the time stated at the time of booking.

Please note that the allotted treatment time includes time for consultation and aftercare advice.

If you arrive late for your appointment, your treatment will be adapted to the remaining time of your booking. 

Spa | Pregnancy

We welcome expectant mothers to enjoy the relaxing surroundings and facilities of the Thermal Spa Village. There are however some of the experiences that due to the jets and extremes in temperature are not recommended during pregnancy. We can adapt any of our pampering treatments for expectant mothers. Treatments are available from 14 weeks, facials are available from 1 week.

Spa | Medical Questions

It is important that you advise us in advance of any health conditions, allergies or injuries which could affect your treatment when making your reservation. Upon arrival at The Spa, you will be asked to complete a pre-treatment medical questionnaire.

Spa | Smoking, Alcohol and Drugs

Smoking and the use of drugs in The Spa is strictly prohibited. It is also advisable to avoid the consumption of alcohol and heavy meals prior to, or immediately after any Spa treatment. For your wellbeing whilst availing of the Spa Facilities, the Management reserves the right to stop serving alcohol to any guest who may be visibly under the influence of alcohol. Alcohol that is bought in the Thermal Village may only be consumed in this area.

Spa | What To Wear

Residents

Robes and Flip Flops are provided in your room which we ask that you wear to use The Spa. Should you have a treatment, disposable underwear is also available.

You may collect a towel at Spa Reception for use during you time at The Spa.

In the interest of comfort, personal safety, health, and hygiene and in consideration of all our other Spa guests, the flip flops provided in your guestroom must be worn in all areas of The Spa at all times.

Day Spa Guests

Robes, Towels and Flip flops are provided for you in your locker. Please bring swimwear for use in the Thermal Spa Village.

If you have a treatment booked disposable underwear is also available. 

In the interest of comfort, personal safety, health, and hygiene and in consideration of all our other Spa guests, the flip flops provided in your Spa locker must be worn in all areas of The Spa at all times.

Spa | Assistance

We have a top of the range fully motorised, mobile pool lift. The Panda hoist has a unique electronics system so that each guest can be transported direct from changing rooms to poolside with no requirement for a wheelchair & no effort by the operator except for steering into position.

The Panda hoist can be used to allow guests to enjoy various facilities throught the Thermal Spa Village. Once the lift is in position at the poolside, the chair is lowered into the water by an attendant operating the controls on the lift control panel. 

Please advise our Reservation or Spa Reception Team should you wish to avail of the Panda.

Spa | Service Charges / Gratuities

A discretionary 5% service charge will be added to your bill.

Spa | Payment

Credit/ Debit card details are required to confirm all bookings including those being paid in full or in part by gift voucher. If using a Gift Card or voucher, details will be required at the time of booking.

Vouchers are non transferrable to another package or treatment and no change can be given. Gift vouchers must be presented to Reception on arrival.

Full payment is required prior to departure. In the event that an outstanding balance is remaining after departure, this will be charged to the card details provided at the time of booking.

Spa | Cancellation Policy

Please allow 72 hours notice of any cancellation or postponement of Treatments or Services booked during your stay.

If your Treatment and/or Service is not cancelled within the specified cancellation period, we reserve the right to charge 100% cancellation fee to the credit card given at the time of booking.

Spa | Classes

Classes are currently unavailable.

Spa | Valuables

Residents 

All valuables should be stored in your guestroom. For items such as phones, safety deposit boxes are available. 

Day Spa Guests

Lockers are provided for Day Spa guests for your individual use. However, we recommend that you do not bring valuables into The Spa.

Galgorm Spa & Golf Resort do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to personal items. 

Spa | Etiquette

To ensure that all guests enjoy the peaceful sanctuary of The Spa, we respectfully request that all visitors keep noise to a minimum. The use of mobile phones and electronic devices in The Spa are allowed however please respect our other guests and ensure devices are kept on silent. We reserve the right to ask any guest or group of guests to leave the Spa if they are disturbing other users of The Spa facilities.
