Can I organise an early check-in?

Your room is guaranteed for arrival from 3pm. An earlier check-in time may be arranged if available at a charge of £20 per hour. If you have planned to arrive earlier to the hotel, our reception and concierge we would be delighted to arrange storage of your luggage, whilst you take the time to explore what the Resort has to offer.

What time can I access the Thermal Spa Village?

Residents access to the Thermal Spa facilities is between check-in at 3pm and check-out at 11am only. Access after check-out will be charged at £30 per person.

Reservations

How can I make a special request regarding my stay?

We would love to help you with any special requests for your stay, simply type your message/request into the special requirements box after entering your name and email address. Alternatively, you can arrange a special request by phoning/emailing the hotel.

 

What is Galgorm Resort & Spa’s online cancellation policy?

Cancellation policy is 48 hours prior to arrival. If booking a Pre-paid Internet only rate, full payment is taken at the time of booking and if you were to cancel there would be no refund.

 

How do I make a reservation for a large group?

Transport

Can Galgorm Resort & Spa organise airport transfers?

Yes, you can select this as an add-on at the time of booking, alternatively contact the hotel directly.

 

Where is the nearest Railway Station to Galgorm Resort & Spa?

There are two stations nearby; Ballymena (10 minutes by Car) and Cullybackey (5 minutes by car)

 

Where is the nearest Bus Station to Galgorm Resort & Spa?

The nearest bus station is in Ballymena (10 minutes by car)

Car Park

Does Galgorm Resort & Spa have a car park onsite?

There are approximately 300 guest car parking spaces at the hotel. Guests who are staying in our Riverside Cabins & Fishermen's Cottages can park directly outside their accommodation if required.

 

Do you have disabled parking available?

Parking spaces closest to the hotel entrance are reserved for guests with mobility difficulties.

 

Do you have an Electric Vehicle Charging Point?

There is one electric charging point located in the carpark nearest to Gillies.

Allergies

If you suffer from any allergies it is very important that the exact nature of such allergies is notified to us at the time of booking. 

Luggage

Can I leave my luggage at the Hotel before check-in/after check-out?

Luggage can be stored with our concierge team until your room is ready for check-in or left after check-out time should you wish to continue to enjoy the facilities of the Resort.

Lost Property

What if I have forgotten an item at the hotel?

If you find that you have left an item behind please call the hotel on 02825 881 001 with information regarding your item to enable us to locate it for you. Useful details will be the date of your stay, the number of the room you stayed in and where you think the item may have been left.

Hotel Facilities

Is wi-fi available in the hotel?

Wi-fi is available in the main hotel free of charge to guests and every guestroom and Fishermen's Cottage has access to Wi-fi. The password for connection is done using the Smart TV. Please note that Wi-fi connection cannot be picked up in the Riverside Cabins.

 

Are pets permitted in the hotel?

Guide dogs are the only animals permitted in the hotel.

 

Are smoking rooms available at the hotel?

Galgorm Resort and Spa is a non-smoking building. Suites have balconies on which guests are permitted to smoke. Guests can use the Mulberry Garden area to smoke in, which is fully equipped with sheltered tables and heated seating.

 

What are the opening times of the Spa?

The Thermal Spa area - Open Daily from 8am-10pm
Treatments – Monday-Friday 9.30am-8.30pm, Saturday and Sunday 9.30am-6.30pm

Residents access to the Thermal Spa facilities is between check-in at 3pm and check-out at 11am only 

What time is breakfast served until?

Breakfast is served from 7-10am Monday - Friday and 7.30-10.30am Saturday & Sunday

 

Can children use the Spa facilities?

Guests must be aged 16 years or over to use the spa facilities and Thermal Spa areas. There is Family Time in the swimming pool from 9am - 10am and 5.30pm - 6.30pm.

 

Do you have a gym?

Yes. The Fitness Suite is located on level 1 within our Thermal Village. The Fitness Suite hosts a range of top quality gym and fitness equipment. Open from 6am to 10pm daily.

 

How far from the hotel are the Riverside Cabins & Fishermen's Cottages situated?

Cottages are 1 minutes walk from the main building and Riverside Cabins are 2 minutes walk from the main building. If you arrive by car, you can easily park beside your Riverside Cabin or Fishermen's Cottage.

Bedroom Facilities

Does the hotel offer family or interconnecting guestrooms?

Family rooms are available to accommodate 3 guests with one double bed and one single bed. Deluxe Family rooms accommodate 4 people. Interconnecting rooms can be reserved and consist of one room with a king size double and an adjoining room with a double bed and a single bed. Each room has a separate bathroom. Cots and camp beds can also be arranged, please contact the Hotel for further details.

 

Does the hotel have wheelchair friendly guestrooms?

The hotel has a number of accessible guestrooms; please inform reservations at the time of booking of your needs.

 

Do you offer tea/coffee making facilities in the guestrooms?

Tea and coffee making facilities are available in all guestrooms.

 

Do you offer an ironing board and hairdryers in the guestrooms?

All guestrooms within the main hotel have a hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

 

Is there wi-fi available in your guestrooms?

Wi-fi is available in the main hotel free of charge to guests. Every guest room and Fisherman's Cottage has access to Wi-fi. The password for connection is done using the Smart TV. Please note that Wi-fi connection cannot be picked up in the Riverside Cabins.

 

Does the hotel supply cots for babies/small children?

A number of cots are available. Please inform reservations of your requirements at the time of booking.

Riverside Cabins & Fisherman's Cottages

What are your Riverside Cabins & Fishermen's Cottages equipped with?

The 4 star Riverside Cabins & Fishermen's Cottages are equipped with fridge, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron & ironing board. Kitchens are stocked with cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils necessary for your stay. Our large Riverside Cabins have a washing machine and tumble drier installed as an extra.

There is a complimentary mini bar in every guestroom.

Spa | Arrival at the Spa

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your treatment to Spa Reception to allow you sufficient time to change, complete your medical questionnaire and enjoy some relaxation time prior to your treatment.

Please note that appointments may alter by 15 minutes from the time stated at the time of booking.

Please note that the allotted treatment time includes time for consultation and aftercare advice.

If you arrive late for your appointment, your treatment will be adpated to the remaining time of your booking. 

Spa | Medical Questions

It is important that you advise us in advance of any health conditions, allergies or injuries which could affect your treatment when making your reservation. Upon arrival at The Spa you will be asked to complete a pre-treatment medical questionnaire.

Spa | What To Wear

Towels, robes & spa footwear will be provided. If your treatment includes the use of the Thermal Village, please bring swimwear. Disposable briefs or boxer shorts will be provided for all wet and/or body treatments.

 

In the interest of comfort, personal safety, health and hygiene and in consideration of all our other Spa guests, the slippers provided in your guestoom or Spa locker must be worn in all areas of The Spa at all times. 

Spa | Service Charges / Gratuities

If you wish to provide and appreciation to your Therapist following your treatment, a 5% gratuity can be made at Spa Reception.

Spa | Payment

Credit/Debit card details will be required to confirm all bookings including those to be paid by gift voucher.

Specific package or treatment vouchers are non-transferable to another package or treatment, no change will be given from gift vouchers. If you are paying by gift voucher please remember to bring it with you on the day and present it on arrival.

Spa | Cancellation Policy

Please allow 48 hours notice of cancellation or postponement for guestrooms to avoid 100% charge. A 100% charge will apply if you do not attend your booking. The charge will be applied to the card provided on arrival or to your hotel room bill, should you be a resident guest.

Deposits relating to full and part day spa packages are strictly non-refundable. They are transferable to another date provided at least 5 days notice to the original date given.

For Spa cancellation, it is 48 hours prior to arrival for treatments and 5 days prior to arrival for packages.

All Spa Cancellations must be in writing.

Spa | Valuables

Lockers are provided for your individual use, however, we recommend that you do not bring valuables into The Spa. Galgorm Resort & Spa do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage of personal items.

Spa | Etiquette

To ensure that all guests enjoy the peaceufl sanctuary of The Spa, we respectfully request that all visitors keep noise to a minimum. Use of mobile phones and electronic devices in The Spa are allowed however please respect our other guests and ensure devices are kept on silent. We reserve the right to ask any guest or group of guests to leave the Spa if they are disturbing other users of The Spa facilities. 

Spa | Best Time To Visit

We want to ensure the utmost of relaxation during your Thermal Village Experience. Please be mindful of our peak times of 3 - 6pm.

Spa | Children and Young Persons

The Spa is an adult only environment and is only open to persons aged 16 and over. The indoor swimming pool is open exclusivley for family time for our residents and Spa members between 9am & 10am and 5:30pm to 6:30pm. All persons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Spa | Group Bookings

The person making the booking for a group will be repsonsible for ensuring all those attending are (i) made aware of The Spa Policies, (ii) recieve a copy of The Spa Policies and the medical questionnaire to be completed on attendance (as provided by The Spa on booking)  and (iii) all such attendees comply with them. Any charges, as a result of The Spa Policies not being adhered to, will be the responsibility of the person making the original booking. 

Spa | Pregnancy

We recommend that pregnant ladies do not use any of the facilities which are heated and have jets fitted in the Thermal Village as this may increase blood pressure. 

Spa | Smoking, Alcohol and Drugs

Smoking and the use of drugs in The Spa is strictly prohibited. It is also advisable to avoid the consumption of alcohol and heavy meals prior to, or immediately after any Spa treatment. Alcohol may onlt be consumed in Elements Café. We reserve the right to refuse admittance to The Spa to any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs. 

Spa | Valuables

We recommend that no jewellery be worn in The Spa. The management and staff at The Spa and Galgorm Manor Hotel Limited do no accept any responsibility for any money, jewellery or other valuables left in the area of The Spa at any time, even when placed in a locked cabinet or room.
