I have sourced beautiful jewellery from all over the world but pride myself in being a stockist for the fabulous Swedish designer, Lily & Rose by Zetterberg and also for prestigious American designer shoe collection by Badgley Mischka.
Most brides prefer to have their dress chosen before choosing accessories, so really any time after that! I recommend booking in as soon as you can, especially if you have your eye on some of our beautiful designer shoes as sizes are so limited. You don’t need to bring your dress to your appointment but if you have a picture that helps me offer my advice should you need it. Sample swatches are handy if you do want to tie if colours but not essential. Some brides enjoy booking in for a hair trial with their chosen hairdresser and then arranging an appointment to try on headpieces! It allows you to see exactly how it will look on the day which can be hard to imagine when the hair is undone; it also allows you to tick off two things from a long list of pre-wedding to-do’s! Again, this isn’t essential, and a lot of brides fall in love with a headpiece first then work their hair around this! Everyone is different.
Of course! I’m a designer by trade and love all things creative so I love nothing more than a bride who wants something unique to them. I work alongside designers in the U.K. and Ireland who can make your wedding dreams become a reality! Pinterest and Instagram are two great places to gather all the latest trends and inspiration but sometimes people can be overwhelmed by so many ideas.
Most pieces can be bought on the day although anything bespoke is usually around a 3-4 week turnaround and sometimes longer during my busiest period from April - September. I can often recommend pieces of jewellery which are not kept on the shelf and come with a lead time of around two weeks.
Do. Not. Stress! Your wedding day should be the best day of your life so try to be as organised as you can and don’t leave things until the last minute.
