I have always had a passion for travel and tourism and spent 18 years working in this sector before joining Galgorm. I'm definitely a people person and was seeking a role where i could combine my love for travel and also challenge myself.
Not only does my job provide sales revenue to Galgorm Collection, but it also creates a destination appeal for Northern Ireland on a global stage, leveraging the Embrace A Giant Spirit brand. Building relationships is key in my role across diverse business sectors from golf to luxury leisure and incentive business to corporate clients. I also work closely with Tourism Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland attending Internation Trade Shows and Sales Missions. I believe one of the best ways to attract business is to get out to market and meet clients face to face.
My clients love immersive experiences and authenticity regardless of what corner of the world they come from so my gem would have to be the Gin Library. I would definitely recommend adding a gin experience to your stay where you can embark on a journey of discovery with a G&T from a local distillery, forage for contrasting botanicals on the estate and create new flavour profiles giving a unique take on a gin tasting experience.
