To ensure your comfort and convenience, we recommend using the main hotel entrance located at the front of the hotel. This entrance has level access.
Our friendly doorperson will be available to assist you with entering the building and carrying your luggage. Accessible parking spaces are located close to the main hotel entrance, with additional spaces available at the spa entrance. Valet parking is also available.
The hotel has three generously sized lifts.
There is level access from the main hotel entrance to the Conservatory.
There is lift access from the main hotel entrance to Gillie’s Restaurant and McKendry’s Bar via Gillies Restaurant. There is an alternative exterior entrance to Gillie’s on the ground floor with permanent ramp access.
Fratelli Restaurant is an external stand-alone restaurant located across from Gillie’s Restaurant and has level access.

The Thermal Village is accessible via a lift, ensuring that all guests can relax and unwind in our tranquil spa facilities. The Thermal Village has an accessible changing suite and several accessible toilets.
Panda Hoist
We have a top of the range fully motorised, mobile pool lift. The Panda hoist has a unique electronics system so that each guest can be transported direct from changing rooms to poolside with no requirement for a wheelchair & no effort by the operator except for steering into position.
The Panda hoist can be used to allow guests to enjoy various facilities throughout the Thermal Spa Village. Once the lift is in position at the poolside, the chair is lowered into the water by an attendant operating the controls on the lift control panel.
Please advise our Reservation or Spa Reception Team should you wish to avail of the Panda.
Hearing Impaired Guests
We can provide a deaf guard, this will vibrate, light up and flash in the event of an emergency.
The lifts feature digital screens displaying floor numbers and hotel information.
Training
All Galgorm Resort staff have disability awareness training.
In July 2021, Galgorm Collection confirmed a three-year strategic partnership with the NOW Group which was the first-ever Gold Jam Card membership on the island of Ireland awarded to a hospitality partner.
JAM Card allows people with a hidden disability or communication barrier to tell others that they need extra time and understanding in a private and easy way.
