What is an apprenticeship?
Apprenticeships provide an excellent way to learn practical new skills while working within our resort but also having the chance to attend college while gaining an internationally and nationally recognised qualification.
How is an apprenticeship assessed?
Each apprentice will work in their chosen department various days throughout the week gaining vital practical skills and then they will attend college / in the classroom to gain the theory-based elements of their qualification.
Will apprentices be paid while working and learning?
Yes, each apprentice will be paid whilst working in the Resort and also when attending college! This is an excellent way to earn and learn.
Is there guaranteed employment at the end of the apprenticeship?
Yes, Galgorm Spa & Golf Resort is committed to progressing all our apprentices further within the Resort, therefore on successful completion of the apprenticeship, each apprentice will receive a position at our Resort.
After employment has been secured, does the learning stop there?
No, further to completing a level 2 our employees can then further their skills by completing level 3 qualifications and higher.
