Tell us a little about how you met & talk us through the proposal

We met at work and had a connection from the get-go! We had been friends for a long time and were both unavailable, but when we both became single, we crossed paths again — and this time, I (Jess) pursued him until he eventually agreed to go on a date!

We felt we were falling in love very early on, then for my 30^th Birthday, Mark said he was taking me to London. However, when we arrived in London, he took me to the airport the next day and told me we were hopping on a flight to Gibraltar!

It didn’t stop there — when we were walking towards the gate for Gibraltar, Mark steered off in another direction and handed me a birthday card which said we were actually going to Santorini! He planned it all — a cliff-edge villa in the centre of Oia!

For my 30th, he also arranged for us to get professional photos at the Church of Prophet Elias. While I was standing on the roof of the church looking out at the sunset for a photo... I turned around, and he was on one knee!!

Why Galgorm?

We had looked at one other place before Galgorm, but as soon as we met (Wedding Planner) Jenny, we knew it was the place for us. Everything felt like no problem to Jenny. Whatever we wanted, she would make happen! They took the stress off my shoulders instantly and I could tell they just wanted us to have a great day.

Tell us the most memorable part of your day

The ceremony…as soon as I walked in and saw how the set-up team had everything arranged, it just felt amazing! More than I ever imagined.
