Tell us a little about how you met & talk us through the proposal
We met when we were teenagers, and he was a friend of my brother, so he came over to our house.
We were together for about 15 years before he proposed to me during COVID. It was beautiful and personal, in our house one winter night with our 4-year-old son.
Ceremony
It was in the Ghost House at Galgorm and it was a personalised humanist ceremony with Emma Crawford, which was amazing. We did 3 rituals from 2 readings to lighting candles and tying the knot.
Reception
Galgorm Four Season Suite. Lovely and very elegant, suiting my style and vision for our wedding day.

I always thought it was a beautiful venue and heard great reviews about the weddings. The grounds are absolutely amazing with stunning views, no matter the weather.
Tell us the most memorable part of your day
There were so many memorable parts of the day. From the ceremony to the funny and heartfelt speeches given by the maid of honor, the groom and finishing off with the best man.
The music and DJ was fantastic and got everyone dancing. It was super fun from dance to the cha cha slide, rock the boat (everyone sitting down) to the long conga line with all the guests.
