What was your first job?

My first real job was at Belfast International Airport where I assisted with offloading and boarding of the planes, it was actually quite fun….except when it rained!

What inspired you to get into the hospitality industry?

The people who work in hospitality. Being a part of something bigger is amazing! We all work as a team to give guests the best experience!

How would you describe yourself to someone who’d never met you?

I would probably go for caring, friendly, organised and understanding.

Which wedding venue within Galgorm is your favourite?

All the venues are gorgeous…but the Renaissance Suite is my favourite. I just love how open it is but still has a warm feeling about it, the view is a big plus too!

What is your favourite part of wedding planning?

Definitely getting to meet all the couples and be a part of their planning process towards their big day! Seeing how excited couples get makes the job exciting for me too!

Who do you look up to/who inspires you?

Probably my Grandad, he was a very hard-working man and loved his family.

What website or app could you not do without?

Probably Netflix or a streaming service, I do love a good series! Any recommendations, let me know!

Tell us something interesting about yourself?

In my spare time, I volunteer for the Belfast Giants ice hockey team on game nights, I have been doing this for many years and still really enjoy it! When I was younger, I actually used to be a cheerleader for the team!

What’s your greatest passion outside work and family?

During lockdown, I actually started a cake baking business, although doing that and having a full-time job is a lot of work so I don’t bake as much as I would like now. Although the rest of the team seem to enjoy when I bring cakes into the office!
