Tell us about your engagement
We met back in 2019 on a Saturday night in Kremlin nightclub. We met on the dancefloor and instantly clicked! Afterwards, we went to McDonald’s and he bought me chicken nuggets – who wouldn’t fall in love with that?
The proposal was incredibly thoughtful. Tim had told me that his work had a photoshoot planned and that I needed to get all dressed up. We got in the car and, next thing I knew, we were at Cuan Mor with Tim admitting he had told a little white lie and had actually booked us an overnight stay. We went out for dinner and little did I know it was because Tim needed to get me out of the way so the staff at Cuan Mor could set up the jetty all ready for the proposal. I had no idea what was coming. It was perfect – a proper romantic proposal, just what I wanted! I was completely surprised and, of course, I said yes! The staff even managed to get a video of the moment, so I get to relive it again and again!

We chose Galgorm Resort as our wedding venue because, from the moment you step into the grounds, you feel like you’ve been transported to a completely different world. The reason we specifically chose The Great Hall was because, although every single venue room is absolutely stunning, when we walked into The Great Hall for the first time it felt like something straight out of a fairytale – and that was exactly the vibe I was going for. I’m also a massive sucker for a waterfall, so the fact the top table had one as a backdrop just clinched the deal!
Beyond the venue’s beauty, the staff at Galgorm were exceptional – absolutely second to none. Their dedicated wedding planners guided us through every step, ensuring our day was as unique as our love story! A special shout-out to Jenny and Donna – literal angels that walk the earth!
