Attracta & Eoin's Wedding
Tell us a little about how you met
Eoin and myself met at the Galway Races in July 2012. Eoin was from County Meath and I was from County Derry but Eoin moved up to Belfast for work that January and the rest is history.
Talk us through the proposal
In October 2015 Eoin and I went on holidays to the East Cost of America. We visited Boston, Washington DC and New York. On our second last night in New York we went to a Broadway Show - Wicked, we went out for dinner and we walked back to the hotel. En route to the hotel, we stopped in at the Rockefeller center to watch people ice skating outdoors. Eoin then went down on one knee and popped the question. I said yes! Eoin had bought an asking ring to use but the next day we headed to the Diamond District on 5th Avenue to pick my official engagement ring.

The Great Hall Galgorm
Why Galgorm Resort and Spa
We have stayed in Galgorm many times and I always wanted to get married there. It's a number one hotel right on our doorstep.
What made you choose a Resort Location?
After viewing the resort, we fell in love with the surroundings. We saw the Great Hall set up for another wedding the day we viewed it and it was just magical.
Tell us the most memorable part of your day
We thoroughly enjoyed the meal, the food was excellent. The most enjoyable part of the day was dancing the night away to The Coves.
Advice for future couples
Prioritise your bookings e.g. florist, cake etc to avoid disappointment and to avoid any rushing /panicking near the big day.
