Tell us a little about how you met & talk us through the proposal

Ciaran and I met online. I actually ignored him a few times and whenever he sent me a picture of his dog, that is when we started talking. He then came to Derry for the day and we’ve been together ever since.

I said I always wanted to be engaged before I was 26. It was the 9th January 2021 during lockdown and Ciaran was making us a nice meal. After the meal Ciaran told me to put Bobby (dog) outside as he was going to get a present from upstairs, he came downstairs and started reading a poem that he wrote himself and got down on one knee.. he did it a day before I turned 26.

Why Galgorm?

My cousin had his reception at the Galgorm about 10 years ago and I always said that this is where I want to get married. We actually went and viewed other places but something kept bringing me back to the Galgorm. It’s just such a beautiful place.

Tell us the most memorable part of your day

I’m finding it really hard to pick a memorable part as the whole day was just so special from start to finish. Probably walking down the aisle and Ciaran bursting into tears.
