Samantha & James' Wedding
Tell us a little about how you met
We meet 5 years ago in Australia in an Irish bar in a town called Airlie Beach in Queensland while both out there on Working Holiday Visas, we ended up staying for 3 years and our beautiful daughter Alba was born out there.
Talk us through the proposal
We had been out for dinner for my birthday at Gillies on the Saturday Christmas 2015 and on the Sunday James insisted we go out for a drive although I wasn't feeling so fresh and tried to talk him out of it! We drove to Ballintoy Harbour and there is lookout point, which we walked to the top and when I turned around James was down on one knee!

Why Galgorm Resort & Spa
A combination of things - close to my home, handy for friends and family, a place which we visited quite regularly and loved the look of it
What made you choose a Resort location
Because it was all in the one place and convenient for our guests and I loved the look of the Ghost House!
Tell us the most memorable part of your day
Although it was all memorable probably just after the ceremony as it was just yes we done it moment, we were now husband and wife and all the planning had come together and now it was just time to have fun!
Advice for future couples
If you can outsource it do it! We booked a package and my whole planning experience was relatively stress free!
