Spa | Children and Young Persons

The Spa is an adult-only environment and is only open to persons aged 16 and over. The indoor swimming pool is open exclusively for family time for our Hotel Residents & guests staying in our Cottage Suites between 9am & 10am and 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Please note family time is available for guests staying in our Riverside Log Cabin between 9am - 10am only. 
 
*Treatments cannot be offered to anyone under the age of 16. All 16/17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult at all times while in the spa, including while having a treatment..

Superior Guestrooms, Deluxe Guestrooms & Suites

Access from individual's check-in time until check-out.

*For guests staying in our guestroom accommodation, early spa access is available at no additional cost from 12noon on the day of check-in. Please note, if you wish to avail of early spa access, you will complete guestroom check-in at 4pm. 

Cottage Suites 
 
Access from 5:00pm - 10:00pm and 8:00am - 10:30am on the day of departure. 
 
Riverside Log Cabins 
 
Access from  7:00pm - 10:00pm on the day of arrival and 8:00am - 10:30am on the day of departure. 

Spa | Scheduling an Appointment

To schedule an appointment, please book online using the below options. 

Spa | Group Bookings

The person making the booking for a group will be responsible for ensuring all those attending are (i) made aware of The Spa Policies, (ii) receive a copy of The Spa Policies and the medical questionnaire to be completed on attendance (as provided by The Spa on booking)  and (iii) all such attendees comply with them. Any charges, as a result of The Spa Policies not being adhered to, will be the responsibility of the person making the original booking. 

Spa | Arrival at the Spa

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your treatment to Spa Reception to allow you sufficient time to change, complete your medical questionnaire and enjoy some relaxation time prior to your treatment.

Please note that appointments may alter by 15 minutes from the time stated at the time of booking.

Please note that the allotted treatment time includes time for consultation and aftercare advice.

If you arrive late for your appointment, your treatment will be adapted to the remaining time of your booking. 

Spa | Pregnancy

We welcome expectant mothers to enjoy the relaxing surroundings and facilities of the Thermal Spa Village. There are however some of the experiences that due to the jets and extremes in temperature are not recommended during pregnancy. We can adapt any of our pampering treatments for expectant mothers. Treatments are available from 14 weeks, facials are available from 1 week.

Spa | Medical Questions

It is important that you advise us in advance of any health conditions, allergies or injuries which could affect your treatment when making your reservation. Upon arrival at The Spa, you will be asked to complete a pre-treatment medical questionnaire.

Spa | Smoking, Alcohol and Drugs

Smoking and the use of drugs in The Spa is strictly prohibited. It is also advisable to avoid the consumption of alcohol and heavy meals prior to, or immediately after any Spa treatment. For your wellbeing whilst availing of the Spa Facilities, the Management reserves the right to stop serving alcohol to any guest who may be visibly under the influence of alcohol. Alcohol that is bought in the Thermal Village may only be consumed in this area.

Spa | What To Wear

Residents

Robes and Flip Flops are provided in your room which we ask that you wear to use The Spa. Should you have a treatment, disposable underwear is also available.

You may collect a towel at Spa Reception for use during you time at The Spa.

In the interest of comfort, personal safety, health, and hygiene and in consideration of all our other Spa guests, the flip flops provided in your guestroom must be worn in all areas of The Spa at all times.

Day Spa Guests

Robes, Towels and Flip flops are provided for you in your locker. Please bring swimwear for use in the Thermal Spa Village.

If you have a treatment booked disposable underwear is also available. 

In the interest of comfort, personal safety, health, and hygiene and in consideration of all our other Spa guests, the flip flops provided in your Spa locker must be worn in all areas of The Spa at all times.

Spa | Assistance

We have a top of the range fully motorised, mobile pool lift. The Panda hoist has a unique electronics system so that each guest can be transported direct from changing rooms to poolside with no requirement for a wheelchair & no effort by the operator except for steering into position.

The Panda hoist can be used to allow guests to enjoy various facilities throught the Thermal Spa Village. Once the lift is in position at the poolside, the chair is lowered into the water by an attendant operating the controls on the lift control panel. 

Please advise our Reservation or Spa Reception Team should you wish to avail of the Panda.

Spa | Service Charges / Gratuities

A discretionary 5% service charge will be added to your bill.

Spa | Payment

Credit/ Debit card details are required to confirm all bookings including those being paid in full or in part by gift voucher. If using a Gift Card or voucher, details will be required at the time of booking.

Vouchers are non transferrable to another package or treatment and no change can be given. Gift vouchers must be presented to Reception on arrival.

Full payment is required prior to departure. In the event that an outstanding balance is remaining after departure, this will be charged to the card details provided at the time of booking.

Spa | Cancellation Policy

Please allow 72 hours notice of any cancellation or postponement of Treatments or Services booked during your stay.

If your Treatment and/or Service is not cancelled within the specified cancellation period, we reserve the right to charge 100% cancellation fee to the credit card given at the time of booking.

Spa | Classes

Spa | Valuables

Residents 

All valuables should be stored in your guestroom. For items such as phones, safety deposit boxes are available. 

Day Spa Guests

Lockers are provided for Day Spa guests for your individual use. However, we recommend that you do not bring valuables into The Spa.

Galgorm Spa & Golf Resort do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to personal items. 

Spa | Etiquette

To ensure that all guests enjoy the peaceful sanctuary of The Spa, we respectfully request that all visitors keep noise to a minimum. The use of mobile phones and electronic devices in The Spa are allowed however please respect our other guests and ensure devices are kept on silent. We reserve the right to ask any guest or group of guests to leave the Spa if they are disturbing other users of The Spa facilities. 

Spa | Best Time To Visit

We want to ensure the utmost of relaxation during your Thermal Spa Village Experience. Please be mindful of our peak times of 3 - 6pm.
 
Please note guests staying in a Superior Guest Room, Deluxe Guest Room or Suites can access the Thermal Spa Village facilities between check-in and check-out.
 
Guests staying in Cottage Suites can access the Thermal Spa Village facilities between 5:00pm - 10:00pm and 8:00am - 10:30am on the day of departure.
 
Guests staying in a Riverside Log Cabins can access the Thermal Spa Village facilities between 7:00pm - 10:00pm and 8:00am - 10:30am on the day of departure.
